As part of the cooperation activities conducted by the EPRC to achieve its mission, Commander EPRC Colonel Hervé Lahille welcomed the Director of CASPOA, Colonel Fabrice Imbo, on Thursday 14th April 2024.
The CASPOA (“Centre d’Analyse et de Simulation pour la Préparation des Opérations Aériennes”) is the French Air & Space Force’s Air C2 School, also accredited as NATO’s Air Operations Centre of Excellence (AO CoE).
The relationship between the two organisations is multi-faceted, and is concretised by regular exchanges relating to the Personnel Recovery aspects of the education and training of Air C2 Staff personnel, discussions on the respective courses’ syllabuses, and the mutual support on their respective education activities via contribution of instructors.
Following a presentation on the EPRC mission, organisation and activities, the Commander EPRC offered Director CASPOA and his team the opportunity to observe the EPRC-organised Joint PR Staff Course (JPRSC) 24-1, that was executed during the same week, and more specifically to watch the running of roleplays by the various students’ syndicates, hosted within the Italian JFAC HQ structure.
The cooperation between CASPOA and EPRC, already formalised by a Letter of Cooperation, will be further reinforced with the study to possibly run the EPRC JPRSC using the CASPOA premises, via a Mobile Training Team.
Both commanders expressed their satisfaction about the visit, a sign of the solid bonds between the two entities which both contribute the building of an efficient PR capability in Europe.
