On 29th of March, Commander EPRC, answering an invitation from the European Defence Agency (EDA), attended the open session of the 43rd Meeting of the Project Team on Personnel recovery (PT PR). The Project Team aims at developing the PR capability in Europe, by promoting Education & Training activities among participating member States, and by funding technological demonstrators that allow to experiment innovative ways of training. The EPRC, in line with its intent to be recognised as a PR hub in Europe, is keen to take part in such forum in order to exchange with other PR stakeholders and contribute to creating a stronger PR community.
This meeting, kindly hosted by Romania in Bucharest, was the occasion to discuss developments in the respective JPRSC syllabuses, mentioning the intent by Romania to hold a course in their Nation, to be presented the current and future activities of the Tactical PR Mission Simulator (TPRMS) project, and reversely to provide other attendees with a view on the portfolio of the current EPRC work strands, ranging from executing the JPRSCs and APROC, animating the SSLWG, drafting STANAGs, and developing new projects about Reintegration.
Within the frame of the Exchange of Letters between the two entities signed in 2016, the EDA and EPRC are prone to maintain their strong links and a high-level of transparency to continue providing valuable outputs for their Member Nations.
