The EPRC provided support to the 35th EDA Joint Personnel Recovery Staff Course –, organised by the Hungary under the EDA JPR E&TC project and held in Veszprem (Hungary), from the 07th to the 17th of April, 2025.
This course is part of the EDA Category B project “Joint Personnel Recovery Education and Training Course (JPR-E&TC)”, which continues the JPR training previously provided under the former Category B project “Personnel Recovery Controller and Planner Course (PRCPC)”
The JPRSC objective is to generate well-trained personnel able to perform as a PR staff (PR Controller, PR Senior Officer, PR Officer) in a Personnel Recovery Coordination Cell (PRCC) or Joint Personnel Recovery Centre (JPRC) within EU, NATO or national headquarters, in the planning and/or execution of military operations or exercises.
For this Course, EPRC contacted the organizer of the Hungarian course and offered their support. During the two weeks, EPRC Instructors had the opportunity to compare the structure, topics and methods of the course organized both by Hungary and EPRC.
For further exchange of experience, EPRC offered the participation of Hungarian instructors on the EPRC JPRSC planned for October 25, considering that, despite the differences, the two courses, have the same objectives, teach the same main processes and have the same consistent final result.
