PTEC WORKING GROUP

12/03/2026 by EPRC Author

Mons, Belgium – 19-20 FEB 2026

The European Personnel Recovery Centre (EPRC) recently took part in the Annual Partnership Training and Education Centres Working Group (PTEC WG), organized by NATO under the framework of the Partnership Training and Education Centres (PTEC) community.

The PTEC WG 2026 was held from 19 to 20 February 2026 at the Mons Congress Centre in Mons, Belgium. The Working Group represents a key forum bringing together NATO-recognized PTECs to prepare recommendations for the next PTEC Commandants’ Conference, enhance cooperation among Centres, foster information exchange, and strengthen practical collaboration, including Train-the-Trainer and Instructor Exchange programmes.

EPRC participated in its capacity as a PTEC, reaffirming its strong commitment to the PTEC community. The meeting proved to be highly important and productive. It confirmed and reinforced long-standing professional relationships with other PTECs worldwide, enabled the establishment of new connections, and provided a valuable opportunity to exchange best practices and align future activities.

Thanks to its participation in the Working Group, EPRC also intends to further broaden the outreach of its education and training offer, extending participation in its courses to Partnership for Peace (PfP) nations, in line with NATO partnership principles and cooperative security objectives.

In addition, the Working Group allowed participants to continue coordinated preparations for the upcoming PTEC Commandants’ Conference. EPRC is already organizing its participation in this major event, as it successfully did last year. This continuous engagement clearly highlights EPRC’s dedication to the PTEC network and its active contribution to strengthening education and training cooperation within the NATO partnership framework.
