Guidonia, Italy – 17-28 NOV 2025
The ItaJAOS-EPRC Joint Personnel Recovery Staff Course 2025 edition, conducted from 17 to 28 November 2025 at the Guidonia Italian Air Force Base, concluded with excellent results after two weeks of intensive training and multinational cooperation.
This edition marked an important milestone, as it was the first time the course was delivered in the new collaborative format jointly organised by the European Personnel Recovery Centre (EPRC) and the Italian Joint Air Operations School (ItaJAOS). The initiative represents a significant step in strengthening the partnership between the two institutions, which are currently formalising their cooperation through a bilateral agreement.
The course brought together instructors and students from Canada, Italy, Slovakia, Spain, and the United Kingdom, offering a unique opportunity to deepen interoperability and enhance common understanding in the field of Personnel Recovery. Throughout the two-week programme, participants developed the skills required to operate as Personnel Recovery staff members within PRCCs or JPRCs at NATO, EU, or national level, through lectures, practical activities, and operational planning exercises.
The professionalism of the EPRC and Ita JAOS staff, supported by experienced instructors, played a key role in ensuring the success of this new training format. The positive feedback received confirms the value of this growing cooperation, which is expected to further improve the quality and effectiveness of future editions.
Building on this successful experience, both organisations look forward to continuing and expanding their collaboration, strengthening multinational capabilities in the Personnel Recovery domain.
